Bela hindi atat magkaroon ng bagong romansa
Bela Padilla

Engaging in a new romance is apparently not a priority for Bela Padilla, lalo’t kung tutuusing almost three years na rin silang naghiwalay ng dating boyfriend na si Neil Arce, now the love of her life ni Angel Locsin.

Kung sabagay, she is turing 28 lang this May 3. And, no doubt, doing well in her career, especially as an actress.

This early, inaabangan na ang kanyang upcoming series na Sino Ang Maysala (Mea Culpa), with Jodi Sta. Maria. From the looks of it, magtatagisan talaga sila sa talino at pag-arte ni Jodi.

Star studded ang teleserye, which has Dan Villegas and Andoy Ranay at the helm, considering na kasama rin sa cast sina Tony Labrusca, Kit Thompson, Ketchup Eusebio, Sandino Martin and Ivana Alawi.

Sino Ang Maysala… is another Dreamscape Entertainment Television production, headed by Deo Endrinal.

Kim 30 na

Of another upcoming star-studded series, there is also Love Thy Woman, which reunites Kim Chiu with her reel and real-life love, Xian Lim.

Also starring are Erich Gonzales, Eula Valdez, Sunshine Cruz, Christopher de Leon and Zsa Zsa Padilla. Plus, Ruffa Gutierrez, whose last teleserye was Betty la Fea. Ayaw raw isipin ni Ruffa kung kailan niya ito ginawa. Basta ang importante, balik-Kapamilya siya.

Of Kim she is turning exactly 30 years old on April 19.

Well, two other celebrates marking their birthdays in April 19 are Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada and Kris Aquino’s beloved son Bimby Yap, her son with former husband top cager James Yap.

Horror movies sunud-sunod

Mauunang ipalabas on May 1 ang horror flick na Maledicto ng Fox Networks Group (FNG) Philippines with Mark Meiley at the helm.

In the cast are Tom Rodriguez and Jasmine Curtis Smith.

It has been a while mula nang mag-direk ng movie si Mark, who has somehow made his mark na as a director, as he won bilang best director for a movie shown in the 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Why he is at home in doing horror films like Maledicto, is because he has directed na two horror movies and several TV thrillers.

While he has previously worked with Jasmine in a TV series in 2014 for TV5, first time niya na maidirek si Tom sa Maledicto.

He is impressed with both of them as actors.

Mark is married to top and award winning cinematographer, Lee Briones Meily, with whom he has three children.

Another horror movies showing May 15 is Kuwaresma, topbilled by Sharon Cuneta and John Arcilla. Producer is Reality Entertainment, direction: Erik Matti.

Bea gustong makatrabaho si Claudine

Bea Alonzo, who considered herself an avid fan of Claudine Baretto must be happy to know that she will soon be seen sa Holy Saturday episode ng long-running drama anthology, Maalaala Mo Kaya, hosted by another favorite actress of hers, Charo Santos-Concio.

Claudine will play mother to former Pinoy Big Brother housemate and now Hashtag dance group member, Jameson Blake.

Two of her favorite movies ni Claudine were Mahal Na Mahal Kita, Anak at Kailangan Kita. Her dream is to be able to do a movie with her.

Which is possible na, since back to work na nga as an actress ni Claudine.

Claudine went on hiatus as an actress when she married Raymart Santiago, with whom she is now estranged, to become a full-time mother to their two children Sabina and Santino.

Wonder if it’s true na may bagong ini-adopt na baby si Claudine.

Personal…

Happy 25th anniversary to healing priest, Fr. Joey Faller, na 25 years nang devoted sa paghi-heal ng mga may sakit.

To meet with Fr. Faller, one has to visit the Kamay Ni Hesus Shrine in Lucban, Quezon, where a number of devotees are expected to flock this Lenten Season.

God bless, F. Faller.
