Bukod kina Nash Aguas, Alexa Ilacad, at Ella Cruz, mga lead performers ng kasisimulang series, Bagito, agaw-pansin din ang mga kabataang co-stars na sina Joaquin Reyes, Alex Diaz, John Sermudo, Grae Fernandez, Brace Arquiza, at Paolo Santiago na gumaganap na kabarkada at schoolmates ni Nash.

If Paolo and Grae look familiar, bukod sa familiar din ang kanilang surnames, it is because maituturing silang member ng showbiz royalties.

Paolo is the eldest son ng Showtime Business Unit head (BUH) na si Jun Santiago. Uncles niya sina Randy, Rowell, at Raymart (Santiago).

Grandparents niya ang dating paboritong direktor sa movies ni Fer­nando Poe Jr. na si Pablo Santiago at ang dating Premiere Productions star na si Cielito Legaspi.

Mommy niya si Sherilyn Reyes, who is now hiwalay from his dad. Married na to a cager si She­rilyn.

In the case of Jun, may iba na rin siyang mahal.

Sixteen years old naman si Paolo.

Grae’s Dad naman is Mark Fernandez, anak nina Alma Moreno and the late action star-produ­cer, Rudy Fernandez.

Bukod sa paminsan-minsang paggawa ng mo­vies, member si Grae ng Gimme 5, na nagpe-perform every Sunday sa ASAP Live. Ka-grupo niya sina Joaquin, John, at Brace.

Dream, of course, ni Grae, who is 15, na when he grows older, maging kasing-sikat siya ng kanyang ama, not to say, granddad.

Nag-umpisa nang mapanood ang Bagito noong Lunes. And tulad ng inaasahan, nag-trending kaagad ito. And its viewers varied, as it include not just the regular following nina Nash at Alexa, plus, of course, Ella, as early as her Aryanna days, but the older ones, too. Lalo na parents na may mga anak na kasing edad nina Nash at Ella.

Bagama’t Nash plays a 14-year old in Bagito, in real life, aniya, he is 16 na. Nineteen years old na college student naman ang papel na ginagampanan ni Ella, who just turned 18 sa real life.

“Maganda ang role na embodied sa Bagito,” ani Ariel Rivera, who was last seen in the series, Maria Mercedes. “Young parents, especially, will learn a lot from it.

“Kung bakit at paano nila tututukan ang kanilang mga teenage children. I, too, is learning from it,” ani Ariel, who has two teenage children. Married si Ariel sa kanyang fellow actor na si Gelli de Belen.

“Ako, pinagdaanan ko ’yan,” ani Angel Aquino, whose two daughters are now both in their 20s. “Salamat at mababait at matitino ang aking mga anak.”

Bagama’t childless, Agot, who plays Alexa’s Mom, can relate to her role in the series. As principal of the school, which their family owned, naniniwala siya na ang school, lalo na ang mga teacher, ay malaki ang maitutulong para ma-avoid ang early pregnancy among their students.

“I hope it doesn’t happen to me,” ani Ella, who got herself pregnant by Nash in the series. “Talagang eye-opener sa aming mga teenager ang series na ito.”

Robin at Vina walang halikan kahit mag-asawa ang role

Although Robin Padilla and Vina Morales play husband and wife in the Metro Manila Filmfest (MMFF) entry for this year, Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo, wala silang eksenang halikan, much less, bed scenes together sa movie.

In Bonifacio, ginagampanan ni Robin ang revolutionary hero, while Vina is Ka Oryang, his second wife.

Bonifacio… is a reunion movie for Robin at Vina, who were together in Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum, filmed in the year 2000.
