Apl.de.ap sa SEA Games
MANILA, Philippines — Pangungunahan ni Apl.de.ap ang opening at clo-sing ceremonies ng 30th Southeast Asian Games ngayong Nobyembre 30 sa Philippine Arena sa New Clark City sa Disyembre 11.
Pinirmahan nina Philippine Sea Games Organi-zing Committee (Phisgoc) chairman Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano at ng Filipino-American artist Apl.de.ap ang kasunduan kahapon sa North Lounge Extension ng House of Representative building sa Quezon City.
“I’m very excited to perform and rock the stage in the opening and the closing ceremony,” sabi ng 44-anyos na si Apl.de.ap, Allan Pineda Lindo sa tunay na buhay na taga-Barangay Sapang Bato ng Angeles City, Pampanga at miyembro ng Grammy Award-winning hip-hop group na Black Eyed Peas.
“I’m from Angeles City, Pampanga and I won’t miss it for the world. I want to be part of this historic moment. It only happens every 20 years. I’m really proud of my country and I really want to share my talent and what I can provide for this event,” dagdag ni Pineda.
Kasama ni Pineda ang Black Eyed Peas sa clo-sing ceremonies sa bagong athletics oval sa New Clark City ng Capas, Tarlac.
