John Lloyd at Sarah movie, unang sasalang sa Kapuso!   

Starting Sunday, April 10, unang mapapanood sa GMA Network ang It Takes A Man and A Woman nina John Lloyd Cruz at Sarah Geronimo. 

Isa ito sa mga movies na naghudyat sa historic contract signing ng GMA with ABS-CBN, that license some of Star Cinema’s most popular and well-loved movies na mapanood sa Kapuso Network, held last Tuesday afternoon, April 5, sa isang virtual event na pinangunahan ni GMA Network President and Chief Operating Officer Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr. at iba pang GMA executives, at sa ABS-CBN na pinangunahan ni Chairman Mark Lopez at iba pa nilang executives.

Mr. Duavit believes “that the partnership is mutually beneficial for both companies and will ushers in the possibility of a far broader set of conversation, potential partnerships and cooperation that will have the benefit not only mutually to GMA and ABS-CBN, but to the benefit of the public.”

Mr. Carlo L. Katigbak, President and Chief Executive Officer of ABS-CBN, says that he is hoping to bring Star Cinema movies to more viewers through this partnership. “Now, because of the kindness of our friends at GMA, we have the special opportunity to bring our Kapamilya stories to a new audience.  We also look forward to a new era of friendship and cooperation within our small industry.”

Taping, hindi na lock-in

Ngayong nasa Alert Level 1 na ang NCR, mas maluwag na ang pagti-taping ng mga serye ng mga network.  Ang Philippine adaptation ng hit Korean drama series na Start-Up na first project nina Bea Alonzo at Alden Richards sa GMA Network, nag-start na sila last Monday, April 4 at hindi na lock-in ang taping nila somewhere in Manila.

Nag-Instagram post si Bea: “First taping day for my new series as a Kapuso. Thank you Lord for blessing us with this beautiful sunset today.  This reminded us of how wonderful you are and how amazing your plans are for each and every one of us. I trust that you will guide me as I embark on this new journey.  Handa na akong makilala ka DANI.”

Ang Start-Up PH ay isang hit series in 2020 about young entrepreneurs dreaming and working to hit it big and become successful.  Napansin ng mga viewers ang Team Good Boy and Team Do San.

Si Dani ay ang character na gagampanan ni Bea, si Alden kaya ang Good Boy?  Makakasama nila sa series sina Jeric Gonzales, Yasmien Kurdi at si Ms. Gina Alajar, ang mabait na lola ni Good Boy. Directors sina Jerry Sineneng at Dominic Zapata.
