Pinangunahan nina Mother Lily Monteverde at Manay Ichu Maceda ang welcome home lunch kay former Senator Bong Revilla, Jr. sa Gloria Maris- Greenhills kahapon.
Tumugtog ng piano si Mother Lily at ibinahagi ang speech kay Sen. Bong.
“People will always say what they want to say. And specially nowadays, people will ALWAYS have something to say. Everything we do is always given shade or color. I feel we have lost the joys of being spontaneous. We have lost the right to make choices without people having opinion about them.
“But this afternoon I do not care. I do not care what people may think or what motives they think I have for this gathering. As far as I’m concerned and from the bottom of my heart, I am simply welcoming a dear friend who have missed. That is all there to this luncheon that gathers us all together this afternoon...” bahagi ng speech ni Mother.
Nagpasalamat naman si Bong sa lahat ng dumalo. Napatawad na rin niya ang mga taong gumawa sa kanya ng kasalanan. Basta siya tuloy ang pagtakbo bilang senador sa Mayo.
At sa 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival, sasabak siya sa labanan and hopefully either kina Pia Wurtzbach o Catriona Gray ang kunin niyang leading lady, huh!
