Carlo atat pakasal!
YSTAR - Baby E (Pang-masa) - October 26, 2017 - 4:00pm

How time flies, Salve A. Would you believe na 32 years old na pala ang dating child actor na si Carlo Aquino? At hindi na ito makapaghintay to marry his girlfriend na si Kristine Nieto.

Kung sabagay, can afford na ni Carlo na magkapamilya. Hindi siya nababakante, kung projects sa ABS-CBN ang pag-uusapan. Katatapos lang niya ng series na The Better Half, co-starring her with Shaina Magdayao, Denise Laurel at JC de Vera.

Carlo is currently helping promote his new soon to be released movie, Throwback Today, directed by Joseph Teoxon.

Throwback Today is one of the entries in 13th Cinema One Originals Festival, na mapapanood on Nov 13-21 sa Trinoma, Glorietta, Gateway, UP Cine Adarna, Cinema 76 and Cinematheque Centre Manila.

Aside from Thowback Today, the other entries na ipalalabas sa Trinoma, Glorietta, Gateway, UP Cine Adarna, Cinema 76, at Cinematheque, on the dates mentioned are Si Chedeng at Si Apple, starring Gloria Diaz and Elizabeth Oropesa, with Fatrick Tabada and Rae Red directing, Changing Partners, an adaptation from a musical stage play ni Vincent de Jesus, starring Agot Isidro, Anna Luna, Jojit Lorenzo, and Sandino Martin, with Dan Villegas directing; Nay, starring Enchong Dee, Jameson Blake, at Sylvia Sanchez, directed by Kip Oebanda; Histographika Errata, directed by Richard Somes, and starring Joem Bascon, Alex Medina, Maxine Eigenmann, at Nathalie Hart; Paki, directed by Giancarlo Abrahan; and Nervous Translation, directed by Shireen Seno.

The 13th Cinema One Originals ay magkakaroon ng extended run, from November 22 to 28, at the Power Plant Mall.

Well, of Rufa Mae, napansin namin, na motherhood has not helped changed her acting style. The same Rufa Mae pa rin ang napapanood namin.

Well, Rufa Mae should look out, since magagaling both in drama and comedy ang mga madalas niyang nakakaeksena na sina Toni Gonzaga, Sandy Andolong, at Miles Ocampo, pati na rin si Mitoy Yonting. Plus, of course, sina Jason Gainza at Clarence.

Come to think of it, even minus Xander Ford and Juana Change, nanatiling magandang panoorin ang Home Sweetie Home. Ganun pa man, iba siyempre, if linggu-linggo ay napapanood pa rin sina John Lloyd Cruz at Ellen Adarna. Under sa direction ni Edgar Mortiz ang Home Sweetie Home.

Vilma ibinuko ang pagiging seloso ng ex

Speaking of former actor and singer, Edgar Mortiz, ibinuko ni Lipa Congresswoman Vilma Santos-Recto na seloso at old-fashioned ito as a boyfriend.

Yes, naging mag-sweethearts daw sila ni direk Bubot, noong teenager pa sila at magka-love team.

Ayaw daw nitong magsuot siya ng mga sexy at maiikling damit.

If direk Bubot has changed, she has no idea, according to Ate Vi, na siya muling magiging guest nina Karla Estrada, Melai Cantiveros, at Jolina Magdangal sa morning talk show nilang Magandang Buhay ngayong araw.

Come to think of it, ang napangasawa rin ni direk Bubot ay isang Santos.

Direk Frasco currently co-direct the top series, La Luna Sangre with Richard Arellano and Mae Cruz-Alviar, starring Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Richard Gutierrez, and Angel Locsin, plus Albert Martinez.

Personal...

Happy Birthday to Ma’am Charo Santos-Concio, who will turn a year older, yes, bukas, October 28.

Birthday din ng aming pamangkin na si Fatima ‘Patty’ Dumalagan, anak ni Chit Ramos, entertainment columnist, who will also turn a year older Saturday.

Many happy return of the day, Patty.
