SSL grows bigger

MANILA, Philippines —  National U stakes its dynasty against 16 rivals in the biggest edition of the Shakeys’ Super League Unity Cup to date, starting on Sept. 25 at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

Six teams from the UAAP and all 10 squads from the NCAA will be out to play spoiler to the Lady Bulldogs’ record-extending five-peat bid as SSL enters its fifth season with bigger roster for each team, heftier prizes for the winners and more modern video challenge replay system.

The 17 squads are scattered to four groups with the top two teams after a single-round robin eliminations advancing to the next round. Standings will be carried over to the next round.
