Panalo ng F2 Logistics sa game 1 vs Petron

MANILA, Philippines — Nasa cloud nine sina super imports Lindsay Stalzer at Maria Jose Perez matapos pamunuan ang F2 Logistics na dungisan ang rekord ng reigning champion Petron sa Philippine Superliga Grand Prix.

Inilista ng Cargo Mo­vers ang matikas na 25-20, 16-25, 25-23, 25-23  panalo laban sa Blaze Spikers sa Game 1 ng best-of-three championship series noong Martes sa The Arena sa San Juan City.

Para kay Stalzer, hindi ito tsamba dahil matagal din nilang pinag-aralan ang galaw ng Petron para mailista ang pinakamala­king upset sa kasaysayan ng liga.

Malaking bagay ito kay Stalzer dahil tila isang ma­laking sampal ito sa Petron --ang dating koponang tinulungan nitong magkampeon sa 2018 edisyon ng Grand Prix.

“I feel really good. This team (Petron) had really grown throughout the season and it’s always nice to beat the team that you used to play for,” ani Stalzer.

Gagawin ni Stalzer ang lahat para bigyan ng titulo ang F2 Logistics.

“It has been on my mind since I came over. But during the game, I’m just focused on getting the win,” ani Stalzer.

Determinado rin si Perez na tulungan ang Cargo Movers na mabawi ang titulo.

Naging bahagi si Perez ng F2 Logistics na nagkampeon noong 2017 Grand Prix ngunit nahubaran ng korona ang Cargo Movers noong nakaraang taon matapos matalo sa Petron na noo’y pinamumunuan ni Stalzer.

“This is my third finals against Petron and I’m really motivated to get the win because this is the reason why I decided to come over,” ani Perez na miyembro ng Ve­nezuelan national women’s volleyball team.

Subalit hindi pa tapos ang laban.

Nais nina Stalzer at Perez na bigyan ng matamis na pagtatapos ang kanilang kampanya.

At magagawa nila ito kung matatalo ng Cargo Movers ang Blaze Spikers sa Game 2 ng serye na nilalaro habang sinusulat ang balitang ito.

“But we all know that this is just the first game so we have to be focused and ready for the second day. We know Petron is capable of striking back so we have to be ready. We are working point by point, set by set. Just enjoy the process and the result is going to come,” ani Perez.
