MANILA, Philippines - Handang makipagsabayan si Filipino world welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao kay American challenger Timothy Bradley, Jr.
At inaasahan ni trainer Freddie Roach na magiging maaksyon ang naturang laban sa Hunyo 9 sa MGM Grand sa Las Vegas, Nevada.
“They are both explosive fighters and they’re going to to toe,” sabi ni Roach kina Pacquiao at Bradley. “That’s why I like this fight so much.”
Nakatakdang itaya ni Pacquiao ang kanyang hawak na World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title laban kay Bradley, ang kasalukuyang WBO light welterweight titlist.
“It’s not an easy fight, but entertainment-wise, it’s one of the best fights we could ever have. We’ll see how good his (Bradley) chin really is,” dagdag ng five-time Trainer of the Year na si Roach.
Hindi naman magkukumpiyansa ang 33-anyos na si Pacquiao laban sa 28-anyos na si Bradley sa gabi ng kanilang upakan.
"Tim Bradley is the kind of fighter you cannot underestimate," wika ng Filipino world eight-division champion sa American challenger. "He loves to fight toe to toe and that's what fans want."
Isang three-week training ang ginawa ni Pacquiao sa Baguio City bago mag-ensayo sa Wild Card Boxing Gym ni Roach sa Hollywood, California.
Para kay Bradley, isang malaking karangalan ang makalaban ang isang katulad ni Pacquiao.
