'Tayo na muli sa Antipolo'

MANILA, Philippines - Take a trip back to breezy Antipolo and its neighboring towns, and explore the many new, undiscovered nooks with Inscribe Tours on Saturday, Dec. 10.

“Tayo na muli sa Antipolo” (Let’s go back to Antipolo), is a cornucopia of delightful sights, flavors and experiences, from a secret garden bursting with exotic fruit and flora, to a celebrated museum featuring young local artists, to an organic farm and fish nursery, to a soothing retreat for prayer and contemplation and, finally, the most luxurious mountain resort in the area.

The tour starts at the Secret Garden of Doris, a sprawling orchard where rare fruit trees like abiu, dragonfruit and longkong are grown, alongside the more familiar mangosteen and lychee. Next stop is the Pinto Art Museum, which houses the collection of Dr. Joven Cuanang and works of local artists. A sumptuous lunch, catered by Bizu Patisserie, will be served in the garden café.

Then it’s on to St. Martha’s Farm in Teresa, where the popular cream dory fish is propagated and processed, and then to the Regina Rica park in Tanay, where visitors can admire the 62-foot sculpture of Mary, Queen of the Holy Rosary and wander around the lush grounds.

Last stop is Thunderbird Resort in Binangonan, where participants can enjoy a spectacular view of Laguna de Bay. Early dinner at the open-air pool bar caps the tour.
