PARIS, France — Watching the world go by from a window or lounging in hammocks outside local shops... giant teddy bears are a familiar sight in Paris' 13th arrondissement where they have been bringing joy to the neighborhood since Christmas 2018.
"It's out of solidarity for the retailers in the area. There is no precise aim. It's really to make people smile when they walk down the street and to give them another idea of a Parisian neighborhood," Aymeric Petitdidier, Optician in 13th arrondissement said.
