TAIPEI, Taiwan — Same-sex marriage opponents gather outside Taiwan's parliament to protest against the government's support for a bill which, if passed, would make it Asia's first gay marriage law.

"A very important reason why I am here is to hold together our cultural foundation which is the foundation for the survival of our society," Frank Han, pro-family supporter said.

These anti-gay marriage protesters also displayed a banner reading "marriage should limit with man and woman" during a demonstration outside Parliament in Taipei.
