MANILA, Philippines — Education Secretary Leonor Briones on Tuesday warned the public against buying stolen computers owned by the Department of Education.

In a press conference, Briones said those who participate in the business of selling the government-owned computers would be held liable.

She cited that the government invested a huge amount of money for these public computers.

“This is from all of our taxes. This is for the children and not for the thieves,” Briones said.
