MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte aired his frustration over the United Nations, which has expressed alarm over extrajudicial killings amid his war on drugs.

“The UN could not end wars and maintain peace among its members, had not done any good for the Philippines,” Duterte said at a press conference past midnight on Sunday. “So take us out of your organization. You have done nothing. Where were you here the last time? Never. Except to criticize. When have you done a good deed to my country?”
