CAGAYAN DE ORO — Liberal Party's top candidate Manuel "Mar" Roxas II on Sunday night expressed disagreement with claims that there are no drug problems in Davao City and Makati City—the bailiwicks of his presidential rivals Rodrigo Duterte and Jejomar Binay.

Roxas, the former Interior secretary and anointed bet of President Benigno Aquino III, said Davao has the fourth highest crime incidence despite Duterte's reputation of being merciless to crooks.

"May droga sa Davao ngayon. Ngayon lang, gusto mo samahan kita e, makakabili tayo ng droga sa Davao e. E kung supposed to be kaya [ni Duterte] gawin 'yan, ba't hindi pa nangyayari 'yan," Roxas said in a chance interview with media including Philstar.com after the Cagayan de Oro leg of the Commission on Elections debate.

Roxas also has some strong words against Binay's style when he was mayor of Makati. Watch the video:
