MANILA, Philippines - 20-year-old Janicel Lubina is all set to compete in the Miss International beauty pageant to be held in Japan on November 5.

The beauty queen, who has competed in a number of local pageants in the past before winning the Bb. Pilipinas-International earlier this year, said she is inspired by the win of fellow Bb. Pilipinas titleholder Ann Colis at the recently-concluded Miss Globe 2015 pageant in Canada.
"Yung determination ko is kailangan ko palang doblehin,” Janicel said. “Namotivate talaga ako n'ung nanalo si Ann. I have to win.”
Janicel captivated fans and the media with her "humble beginning" as a former househelper and farmer in Palawan when she was younger.
