MANILA, Philippines – Derek Ramsay and Coleen Garcia gave advice on how one get over past relationships.
In their film “Ex With Benefits,” their characters Adam and Arki are ex-lovers. With their relationship having ended, they retain hang-ups which resurfaced as they meet again after ten years.
Derek said that to be able to move forward from a past relationship, one must always put in mind the happiness of the other person.
“Kung mahal mo talaga ‘yong ex mo, isipin mo na lang na mas masaya siya. If you see that you’ll feel na she’s better off without you, she’s happier without you, you’ll be able to focus on yourself,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Coleen told girls that after a breakup they should “focus all [their] energy by giving [themselves] the love that [they] deserve.”
