Rolling in the deep: Tubbataha diving without license

MANILA, Philippines — Who says you need a license to put on a wet suit and go scuba diving in one of the world's most treasured reefs?

Google has gone underwater to scale the Philippines' Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park, declared a world heritage marine reserve by UNESCO in 1993.

It won't be the same experience as real, but close enough with Google Street View's Oceans feature presenting Tubbataha in 360 degrees as one of the 24 most beautiful reefs in the world.

Google perfectly captures Tubbataha's North Atoll with a coral ridge of rich marine life with various fish species swimming near the surface of the deep blue water.

Galapagos Islands in Ecuador, Wilson Island at the Great Barrier Reef and Mexico's Underwater Museum of Isla Mujeres are also featured. - Camille Diola
