Assumption College open house

MANILA, Philippines - Senior high school students will now have a chance to learn about the country’s pioneering progressive school for women as Assumption College invites them to join myAC: Assumption College Open House 2009 on Sept. 26, 2009 from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The annual event welcomes applicants with a guided tour of the school, giving them a glimpse of Assumption’s excellent facilities. Assumption alumna, professors and student leaders will also share how their AC education has helped shape their success stories. A simultaneous parents’ orientation will also be held with teachers and administrators.

Other highlights of myAC include the free entrance exam with results revealed in the same day, a fashion show and a free concert co-presented by 99.5 RT featuring high-profile artists such as Sandwich and Hale.  

In the evening of Sept. 26, the public is also invited to the gala night of The Mystery of Irma Vep, a presentation by the Marie Eugenie Theater of the Assumption (METTA) headed by Juilliard graduate Ana Valdes-Lim. Renowned actors Jon Santos and JV Katipunan will share the stage with Assumption students in this comedy. Tickets are available at P150 each. The show starts at 7 p.m.
