Epekto ni Ompong ang super typhoon, bow

NAKIKIRAMAY ang mga kuwago ng ORA MISMO, sa 25 madlang people na namatay last 2 days ago nang rumagasa ang super typhoon Ompong o Mangkhut at winindang ang mga dinaanan nito sa Luzon.

Sabi ng mga asset ng mga kuwago ng ORA MISMO, hindi napigilan ang ‘zero casualties’ dahil may mga natigok.

Sabi nga, kawawa naman.

Sabi ng mga asset ng mga kuwago ng ORA MISMO, may isang sasakyan ang natabunan nang lupa kasama ang mga sakay nito pero himalang nailigtas sila.

Kambiyo issue, lumayas na si Ompong at nag-iwan ng malaking sira sa ari-arian, mga pananim at matinding pagbaha.

Hindi pa rito natatapos ang bagsik ni Ompong dahil katakot-takot ang gastos na gagawin ng gobierno at madlang people sa sinira nito.

Ang masama pa lalong magmamahal ang presyo ng tsibog dulot ng pagbaha na ginawa ni Ompong.

Sana kumilos ang gobierno para kontrolin ang pagtaas ng presyo ng mga pangunahing bilihin.

Sabi ng mga kuwago ng ORA MISMO, ang pinakamabigat ay ang muling pagtaas ng presyo ng mga gasolina.

Sabi nga, hindi kayang awatin ito ng gobierno!

‘Nawindang na ang bahay tiyak itong linggong ito mawi-windang ang bulsa ng mga pobreng alindahaw.’ sabi ng kuwagong nanginginig.

Status update for Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, operated airports directly affected by Typhoon Ompong:

Baguio

– Communication lines are open and ope­rational via VHF/HF (Very High Frequency radio) and phone and mobile lines

– Navigational aids and meteorological equipment are operational
– Terminal and other vertical structures are intact

– Runway 27 is affected by landslide in the area, runway is covered by mud

– NOTAM shall be issued to limit Baguio operations to helicopter utilization only

Basco

– Communication lines are open and operational via VHF/HF and mobile phones. Landline is down

– Polycarbonate sheets in the terminal were blown off due to strong winds

– No apparent damage to the runway

–  Airport is operational

Cauayan

- Communication lines are open and ope­rational via VHF/HF (Very High Frequency radio) and phone and mobile lines

- Anemometer (use to measure speed of wind) is out

- No substantial damage to horizontal and vertical structure,

- But operations is limited to only to relief/humanitarian and medivac

Itbayat

- no contact as of this writing

Laoag

- Communications via VHF/HF, satellite and mobile phones are open
- Navigational aids and meteorological equipment are operational
-Admin building roof blown off, but runway is usable after FOD (Foreign Object Debris) clearing

- No commercial power, but operations back to normal

Linggayen

- Communications via mobile phones only

- There is flooding in the runway about 6 to 8 inches

- No commercial power, and airport is closed

Palanan

- Communication is via mobile phones

- Damaged electrical wires and bulbs due to strong wind

San Fernando

- Airport is operational

Tuguegarao

- Communication lines via VHF/HF and mobile phones are open and operational

- No contact with its Navigational aids and meteorological equipment
- Damaged ceiling, glass panels ARFF, Admin building and old tower building

-Operations is limited to relief/humanitarian and medivac

Area 5 Airports:

Legaspi, Naga, Virac, Sorsogon, Masbate, Daet and Bulan sustain no damage to any if its airport facilities as reported.
