Guard that empty lot

MAKES SENSE. A lot in Cebu City has been standing empty for months after the house there was demolished, but a guard seems to be assigned to secure it. When asked about his unusual assignment, the guard said the owner of the lot (which is in a prime location) said they aren’t sure what to do with it yet, but in the meantime he also wants to prevent squatters from moving in.

“Ingon siya mas barato pa daw mobayad og sikyo karon kay sa pagpahawa sa mga squatter unya,” the guard said.
