Baptismal rite

BAPTISM. Our Ear informer attended a baptismal rite in a parish church last week. There were four men who acted as sponsors (baptized baby was a boy). "Nalingaw kaayo ko'g sud-ong sa mga ninong," our informer said. "Sa upat ka sponsors tulo nag-Amerkana (coat-and-tie) ang ika-upat nagpormal long sleeves nga barong."

AMUSED. The Ear informer said he was amused by what he saw. Three Pinoy baptismal sponsors in coat-and-tie while their fourth companion was a Caucasian wearing barong.
