Back issues sold out

BACK ISSUES. In a site where a "Via Crucis" (Way of the Cross) rite was held last Good Friday, two newsboys displayed their unsold previous newspapers. "The back-issue papers were all sold out," an Ear informer said. "Yes, even if the news were one-day old.”

HUNGRY. The Ear informer said it was not because the Via Crucis" crowd was hungry for news (there were no current issues of the newspapers that day). "Ilang gipandung sa init sa adlaw ang mga karaang periodiko," the informer said laughing.
