Wheelchair

WHEELCHAIR. A medical school graduate from Agusan and boarding in her cousin's house in Manila was preparing to present a brand new wheelchair to her mother who was set to arrive in Manila last Monday. The mother had a walking impairment.

TRAGEDY. Her mother did not arrive as scheduled. An Ear informer said the mother was a passenger of the ill-fated MV St. Thomas Aquinas and is, until now, among the missing. Our informer said the daughter has been hospitalized due to shock.
