PCSO taps tech firm for lotto expansion

PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles led the signing of a memorandum of agreement with ComWorks executives on July 13.

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office has tapped a retail technology firm to widen the availability of lotto games and boost revenues intended for the PCSO’s health and charity programs.

PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles led the signing of a memorandum of agreement with ComWorks executives on July 13.

The PCSO will use Comworks’ technology for the agency’s “Suki Lotto” platform.

Under the deal, ComWorks will deploy and manage point-of-sale terminals across its network of retail outlets nationwide.

Robles described the partnership as a key development in the PCSO’s digital transformation and modernization efforts.
