CEBU, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has belied alleged changes to requirements for senior citizens’ driver’s license registration.

A video posted on social media claims that the LTO will be seeking medical documents, a stricter renewal process and a changed validity period starting March 1.

No directive or memorandum has been issued enforcing such changes, the LTO stressed.

The LTO has urged the public to be vigilant and follow the agency’s official information platforms to avoid confusion.
