MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police continues its manhunt for fugitive pastor Apollo Quiboloy, PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo maintained yesterday.

Fajardo assured the public and Sen. Risa Hontiveros that the PNP has been coordinating with other law enforcement agencies to locate Quiboloy.

Fajardo issued the statement after Hontiveros urged the PNP to step up in implementing the arrest warrant issued by a Davao City court against the leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.

At a press briefing at Camp Crame, Fajardo provided updates on the ongoing efforts to locate Quiboloy.

“But we cannot give you the specific areas where police tracker teams are looking for Quiboloy,” she said.

Fajardo said the manhunt for Quiboloy extends beyond Davao City, adding that all information regarding the possible whereabouts of the fugitive is thoroughly validated.

Asked about the possibility of Quiboloy leaving the country, Fajardo said there was no indication that he had left the Philippines, based on records from the Bureau of Immigration.
