COTABATO CITY, Philippines —Three persons were killed while another was wounded in an ambush in Pualas, Lanao del Sur on Sunday.
Police said Pendaton, 54; Tarapas, 32, and Mutilan, 26, all surnamed Polayagan, died at the scene of the incident from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victims’ companion, Benjamin Polayagan, 25, was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The Polayagans were in a tricycle when unidentified men waylaid them along a farm-to-market road in Barangay Masao.
