3 UP chancellors named

MANILA, Philippines — The University of the Philippines (UP) has selected three regents for its Manila, Visayas and Los Baños campuses.

Michael Tee, who is the current vice chancellor for planning and development, was appointed by the Board of Regents (BOR) as UP Manila’s new chancellor.

Tee will replace Carmencita Padilla, who will end her term on Oct. 31.

Jose Camacho Jr. was appointed chancellor of UP Los Baños.

The BOR reappointed Clement Camposano for his second term as chancellor of UP Visayas.

Camposano was one of the two nominees for the UP Visayas chancellorship alongside retired UPV professor Mary Ann Gumban.
