Camp Olivas, Pampanga, Philippines — Two farm workers died while another was injured when lightning struck in Samal, Bataan on Friday.
Kevin Sacriz, 22, and his uncle Elvin, 26, died while being treated in a hospital, where his father Edizer, 56, was also brought for treatment of injuries.
Reports said the Sacrizes had just finished working in the farm and were on their way home when heavy rain fell.
The victims took shelter in a nipa hut in Barangay Palili and waited for the rain to stop, when lightning struck.
