PSG man dies in road mishap

MANILA, Philippines — A member of the Presidential Security Group died in a road accident in Alfonso, Cavite on Friday night.

Cpl. Randy Ramos was on a motorcycle when it crashed into a tree along Alilio Drive in Barangay Upli at around noon.

The victim suffered head injuries and was declared dead on arrival at the Tagaytay Medical Center.

In Olongapo City, 21 people, four of them women, were injured in a six-vehicle smashup in Barangay Barreto.

Police said a passenger bus driven by Joemar Elayda, 34, hit a Toyota Avanza, a Toyota Fortuner, a Mitsubishi L300 van and a jeepney.

A majority of those injured were jeepney passengers. They were taken to the James Gordon Memorial Hospital for treatment.
