MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has activated its disaster team for the victims of a magnitude 6 earthquake in Masbate.
The DSWD quick response team of the agency’s Field Office V yesterday promptly coordinated with the provincial disaster risk reduction and management office and concerned local government units for the conduct of rapid damage assessment of areas affected by the earthquake.
