MANILA, Philippines — A suspected New People’s Army (NPA) leader was arrested in Baras, Rizal on Thursday. Antonio Pule was apprehended by a joint police and military team in Barangay Pinugay at around 4:10 p.m.
He was said to be a finance officer and platoon leader of the NPA’s Sub-Regional Military Area in Calabarzon.
Pule, who was ranked eighth on the list of most wanted persons in Calabarzon, was arrested based on a warrant for murder and attempted murder
