Warehouse fire put out after 32 hours

MANILA, Philippines — A fire that razed a warehouse in Valenzuela City was put out after over 32 hours.

The Bureau of Fire Protection-Valenzuela declared the blaze was put out at Titan Rubber’s warehouse, which stored rubber products, at around 11:45 p.m. Thursday. The BFP raised the first alarm at around 3:21 p.m. on Wednesday.

In photos shared on social media, Mayor Wes Gatchalian visited the scene of the fire and met with the firefighters, some of whom were still covered in ash.

The BFP has yet to determine what caused the fire and the estimated property damage.
