MANILA, Philippines — Fifteen of the 18 barangays in Navotas have been declared free of COVID-19 cases.
In a Facebook post, Mayor Toby Tiangco said the 15 barangays have no active cases as of Saturday noon.
There are only four active cases in Barangays NBBS Dagatdagatan, NBBS Kaunlaran and Tanza 1.
The positivity rate in the city also went down to six percent. None of the 21 people who got tested on Saturday were positive, Tiangco added.
The mayor thanked his constituents for complying with minimum health protocols and urged them to get vaccinated.
