MANILA, Philippines — The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has reminded examinees for the Career Service Examination pen and paper test scheduled on March 13 to wear face mask and shield or they would be denied entry to the testing venue.
Examinees may lift or remove the face shield during the test to maximize vision and reading of the test materials, the CSC said. But the examinees must strictly wear their face mask for the entire duration of the examination.
The CSC said the examinees must present the original or a digital copy of their vaccination card or VaxCert issued by the Department of Health.
Unvaccinated or partially inoculated examinees must present a negative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), saliva or antigen test result.
Fully vaccinated examinees must also present a negative RT-PCR, saliva or antigen test result.
“These requirements are part of the safety protocols to protect the examinees from COVID-19 infection,” the commission said.
Examinees must also submit a health declaration form, pre-accomplished within 24 hours prior to examination day.
The space in the health declaration form for temperature reading must be left blank as thermal scanning will be done at the main entrance of the testing venue on exam day, the CSC said.
“Examinees may opt to bring alcohol or hand sanitizer that is not more than 100 ml in size, as well as candies, biscuits and water. However, drinking will only be allowed outside the testing room upon the approval of the examiner,” the CSC said.
A total of 75,540 examinees will troop to 77 testing centers across 16 regions for the Career Service Examination. About 81 percent or 61,075 examinees will take the CSE Professional test. The rest will take the Subprofessional level.
