Pangasinan bettor wins P125.6 million lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor in San Carlos City in Pangasinan won the jackpot in the 6/49 Super Lotto drawn on Thursday, ending the three-month winner drought, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said yesterday.

Royina Garma, PCSO general manager and vice chairperson of the board, said the bettor guessed the winning combination 05-03-10-17-43-49, which had a total jackpot of P125,692,139.20.

Fifteen other bettors who hit five of the winning numbers won P50,000 each.

The jackpot in the 6/49 Super Lotto  jackpot was last won on Aug. 15. A bettor in San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan took home P48.5 million.

Lotto winnings are subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Act or TRAIN Law.

The 6/49  Super Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
