Super Lotto pot to hit P98 million

Rainier Allan Ronda - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — The Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot is estimated to reach P98 million by tonight’s draw after no more than two months of having no winners, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said yesterday.

Royina Garma, PCSO general manager and vice chairperson, said there was no winner in Thursday night’s Super Lotto 6/49 draw, which had a winning combination of 26-09-33-42-36-24 and carried a jackpot of P92,266,370.60.

The Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot is estimated to soar to P218 million by the next draw on Sunday after no one won the P212-million jackpot in last Friday’s draw, which had a winning combination of 37-54-14-51-48-05.

However, 12 bettors each won P120,000 as second prize by guessing five of the six-digit winning combination.

The Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot of P48.5 million was last won on Aug. 15 by a bettor who bought the winning ticket in San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan. The Super Lotto 6/49 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

The Ultra Lotto 6/58, on the other hand, was last won by a bettor in Calbayog City in Samar, who received a jackpot of P49.5 million in June. The Ultra Lotto 6/58 is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
