KORONADAL CITY, Philippines — A woman hacked to death her 10-month-old niece she was babysitting in Barangay Caloocan in this city on Wednesday.
Marilou Bayno was arrested by police who responded to reports from neighbors and barangay officials.
Initial investigation showed Bayno repeatedly stabbed the baby using a knife.
Personnel of the women and children’s unit of the Koronadal police are preparing criminal charges against Bayno.
