MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) resumed lotto and other number games yesterday in areas under a more relaxed community quarantine status.

The PCSO said it secured approval from the Office of the President to continue its gaming operations outside Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal, which are under enhanced community quarantine or ECQ.

Draws were also conducted for lotto tickets bought for Monday’s draws, which were suspended due to the declaration of the ECQ.

“All PCSO gaming operations shall be suspended nationwide from April 1 to 4 in observance of the Lenten season, except for small town lottery in areas with approved requests to conduct selling and draw activities,” the agency said.
