Zamora cleared of COVID-19
MANILA, Philippines — San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora will return to work at city hall today after being cleared of COVID-19.
Zamora made the announcement yesterday after getting a doctor’s clearance from the Cardinal Santos Medical Center where he had been isolated.
He tested positive for the virus on Feb. 28.
“Yes, I’m back to work physically tomorrow. I had been working from the hospital after I contracted COVID,” Zamora said.
Zamora’s physician, Dr. Paul Salandanan, said the mayor did not manifest any symptoms of the virus.
“He was cleared of COVID-19 and can be reintegrated back into the community,” Salandanan said.
