Albay bettor wins P36 million lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor in Polangui, Albay became an instant multi-millionaire after winning the jackpot in the 6/45 Mega Lotto drawn on Wednesday night.

Royina Garma, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) general manager, said the bettor guessed the six-digit winning combination 07-10-29-32-12-35, which had a total jackpot of  P36,022,560.80.

Fifteen other bettors who hit the five winning numbers won P32,000 each.

The 6/45 Mega Lotto was last won on Dec. 30 by a bettor in Baguio City. The jackpot was P20.9 million.

Meanwhile, Garma said the jackpot of the 6/55 Grand Lotto is expected to increase to P126 million during its draw on Saturday.

No one hit the winning numbers 40-41-20-37-52-11, with a jackpot of P121,309,004.40 during Wednesday’s draw.

Seven bettors who guessed five of the winning numbers got P100,000 each.

The 6/55 Grand Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
