LAGUNA, Philippines — A group of armed men allegedly robbed 21 Chinese workers for a Philippine offshore gaming operator in Biñan City, Laguna yesterday.
The gunmen allegedly carted away P280,000 in cash, P780,000 worth of jewelry, cellular phones and laptops from the victims.
Police said the incident occurred in a subdivision in Barangay San Francisco at around 1 a.m.
A security guard said the suspects introduced themselves as police officers and took his service firearm.
