P10 million shabu stuffed in Chinese tea seized

MANILA, Philippines — Four drug suspects were arrested for alleged possession of P10 million worth of shabu stuffed in a pack of Chinese tea in Malabon yesterday.

Remel de Jesus, Jufirst Soguilon, Jhay Camposano and Rizza Mae Pabon were nabbed during a sting in Barangay Tugatog, city police chief Col. Jessie Tamayao said.

De Jesus and Soguilon allegedly sold P20,000 worth of shabu to police.

The two had been detained on drug charges, probers said.

In Quezon City, four suspected drug pushers were collared in separate stings that yielded P1.2 million worth of narcotics.

In Pasay, more than P400,000 worth drugs was seized in anti-narcotics operations.
