Preacher, wife die in Agusan Sur road mishap

BUTUAN CITY, Philippines – A preacher and his wife died in a road accident in Barangay Rio, Sibagat, Agusan del Sur on Wednesday.

Robert Bebis was driving a motorcycle with his wife Emilou, a public school teacher, when their vehicle was  hit by a Toyota Hilux, Maj. Charlie Quidiam, Sibagat police chief, said.

The couple were pronounced dead on arrival at the Butuan City Medical Center.

Initial investigation showed the pickup, a service vehicle of the Department of Public Works and Highways district office, was hit by a cargo truck before it collided with the motorcycle.
