TUGUEGARAO CITY , Philippines — At least 17,550 fully grown marijuana plants valued at around P5 million were uprooted in Kibungan, Benguet and Sugpon, Ilocos Sur on Wednesday.
Personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said seven kilos of dried marijuana stalks were also recovered in the areas.
The cultivators of the marijuana plantations eluded arrest.
