MANILA, Philippines — A passenger was killed and three others injured in a vehicle smashup involving two motorcycles and a wing van in Valenzuela before dawn yesterday.
A Yamaha Crypton driven by Romulo Catinoy was overtaking a wing van when it collided with a Kawasaki sidecar coming from the opposite direction.
The passenger, Robiner Manaois, was thrown off the vehicle and run over by the wing van driven by Jimmy Marvilla along the East Service Road in Canumay East before dawn.
Manaois died at the scene while the other drivers and passengers were rushed to a hospital for treatment.
