BANI, Pangasinan, Philippines — Two persons were found floating in a river in Barangay Banog Norte in this town on Friday.
Reports reaching the Pangasinan police showed that the bodies of Laurito Taganap, 71, and his wife Violeta, 69, were recovered after a village watchman who spotted them reported the incident.
The couple were last seen on Wednesday while crossing the river on a bamboo raft.
