Man hacked to death over missing carabao

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — Two families in Tabuk City, Kalinga clashed on Monday afternoon over a missing carabao, leaving one dead. 

Clinton Serquiña was hacked to death by the family members of Lino Gunnawa, the owner of the carabao, Maj. Carolina Lacuata, Cordillera police spokesperson, said, quoting a Kalinga police report.

Serquiña’s sons Ronnie and Ranny were wounded.

Gunnawa and his son Abraham ecaped. His other son Rexam was taken to a hospital for gunshot wounds. Another member of the Gunnawa clan was arrested.
