MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Police District (MPD) has launched a manhunt for a woman and her three sons in connection with the killing of their neighbor in Tondo, Manila before dawn yesterday.
Robert delos Reyes died from gunshot wounds while being treated at the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center.
Capt. Henry Navarro, MPD homicide chief, said Margie Usison and her children Renjie, Ronald and “Tokwa” fled after the shooting.
Navarro said the Usisons rushed to Delos Reyes’ house and started cursing at him at around 5:15 a.m. When the victim went out, one of the suspects shot at him repeatedly.
Investigators said the victim and the suspects had been at odds for a long time, though they have yet to determine the motive for yesterday’s attack.
